Letter from Hell

My friend, I stand in judgment now,
and feel that you're to blame somehow.
On earth I walked with you by day,
and never did you show the way.

You knew the Savior in truth and glory,
but never did you tell the story.
My knowledge then was very dim,
you could have led me safe to Him.

Though we lived together, here on earth,
you never told me of the second birth.
And now I stand before eternal hell,
because of heaven's glory you did not tell!

"When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand." Ezekiel 33:8

This scripture is a sober reminder to us of our responsibility. So which do you prefer? Possible ridicule from those you warn, or blood on your hands at the judgment seat of God. Thank God for his grace, mercy, and forgiveness. We need to serve God with ALL of our heart, soul, and mind. (Matthew 23:37)

Thanks for your thoughts, Bob! I also find that verse in Ezekiel very convicting.
If we really believe this, don't we HAVE to warn people?

"Our behavior is our beliefs put into action."
